Hello and welcome to Islands Chiropractic. I have been helping people since 1993 regain their health and understand how their body functions. I find when people understand why they have a problem in the first place they become empowered with the knowledge of what it will take to fix it. If you are taking medication to cover up your symptoms or hoping your problem will go away, please do yourself a favor and let me help you. I promise to treat you like I would treat my own family.
Sincerely, Dr. Carlow

Dr. Daniel Carlow
Dr. Daniel Carlow was raised in Scottsdale, Arizona. He chose chiropractic as his career because he loved the idea of being able to help people with a natural approach without using drugs or surgery. His chiropractic journey actually began when, suffering with back spasms, a friend recommended chiropractic. He was hesitant at first not knowing anything about chiropractic. He was amazed at how quickly he improved and how much sense chiropractic made. Chiropractors realign the spine to take irritation off the body so it can function normally. “I always knew taking medicine to reduce pain was only covering the symptoms of a larger problem. I always wanted to know WHY I had the problem and LEARN what I could do to fix it.” Chiropractic gave him that answer. He later attended Palmer Chiropractic College and graduated in 1993.
Today, Dr. Carlow is the owner of Islands Chiropractic & Massage and has enjoyed helping people over the last 25 years through chiropractic, massage and physical medicine. He loves helping people get out of pain fast and teaching them how to keep themselves healthy.
Dr. Carlow is married to his beautiful wife, Anne and has 5 children. He keeps active with his family by biking, hiking and playing a variety of sports. He has lived in Gilbert, AZ for over 20 years and loves the small town feel and the wonderful people.
Deidre Baker, Licensed Massage Therapist
Most everyone has moments in their lives where the pieces seem to fall into place. Sometimes these opportunities appear seemingly out of nowhere. Other times, they are a culmination of years of focused and determined work. Almost always these moments are life changing.” -Molly Barker
My name is Deidre A. Baker and this moment happened for me at one of the toughest times in my life. At 16, I discovered a form of therapy that, at the time was only seen as a luxury treatment rather than a form of healing.
Massage Therapy revealed itself to me during ongoing treatment for myself and my mom who was struggling with Multiple Sclerosis.
After graduating High School in 2004, my decision was easy. I attended The Denver School of Massage Therapy . Over the course of the next several months I completed 815 hours of training, a cadaver lab and 90 days working in a hands-on clinic graduating in the Spring of 2006.
Over the course of the last 12 yrs I have continued to hone my skills, establish and create one of a kind treatments, that are customized to meet the needs of each client. I use a variety of different techniques to create balance throughout the body and work to get you back to a healthier, happier lifestyle as quickly as I can.
I can’t wait to meet you and I look forward to being on your journey to a happier healthier you.
